Role Overview
This is a key hands-on role providing accounting leadership and stability during a transition period. You’ll manage core accounting operations across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong financial controls. The position is offered as an 8-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate.
About the Person
You’re an experienced Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment. You bring solid experience with rebate accounting and are confident working with SAP to manage complex financial processes. You take ownership, enjoy solving problems, and can deliver results under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full rebates lifecycle, creation, rollover, settlement, and monthly reporting
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end results, including accruals, reconciliations, and journals
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards, and support audit and tax processes
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) with 3+ years’ accounting experience
- Proven SAP and rebate accounting experience is essential
- Experience in a multinational or FMCG environment preferred
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills
