Job Summary



Summary: As the Assistant General Manager I, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with running the day to day operations of an account over $1 million in size. You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee quality controls for the account. Additionally, as part of the management team, you will be responsible for the below duties as outlined.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the General Manager with food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
  • Ensures the food offered to the client, customers, and employees of the operation is of superior quality.
  • Maintains excellent relationships with employees, guests, and client as well as other departments within the operation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications: 

  • Two to four years of fine dining restaurant experience is required.
  • Comprehensive food knowledge is required.
  • Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge is required.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products are required.
  • Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
