Six Sigma Program Administrator

PURPOSE:  Responsible for the Administration of the Lincoln Electric Holdings Six Sigma Program. This includes the scheduling and delivery of Grey, Red and Black Belt training, consultation on scope and objective of D.M.A.I.C and Lean projects as part of training and certification requirements. The monthly review of such projects and assist to complete where necessary. Collaborate with all segments in our global effort to support our Quality core value which includes a continuous improvement focus.  

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Conduct Red and Black Belt training as required.
  • 25% - 40% domestic and international travel.
  • Track employee(s) progress towards certification with recognition to those who earn it.
  • Assist all departments with statistical analysis, DMAIC tool use and problem solving as needed.
  • Maintain Global Linc’s Six Sigma Community Page.
  • Develop and update training material.
  • Administer Six Sigma and Lean on-line training programs.
  • Mentor  Black Belts so they may conduct Red Belt training within their organization.
  • Maintain continuity between corporate and subsidiary training programs.
  • Lead project review meetings to determine barriers to completion and provide assistance as needed.
  • Monitor all open projects and issue quarterly status reports to project Sponsors.
  • Perform research and continuous education to improve and expand the program.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of Lincoln Electric’s strategic plan and 2020 Vision.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experienced in delivering structured training.
  • Black Belt certification (external is accepted).
  • 6 - 8 years’ experience as certified Black Belt while performing multiple DMAIC projects and Kaizen events.
  • Thorough understanding of inferential statistics and hypothesis testing as related to process improvement.
  • Computer skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Minitab.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
