About the role
IT team is looking for a leader of information technology responsible for managing HR IT system, program and business stakeholders. HR systems plays a key role in BSC not only how HR delivers its services globally but how it attracts new talent and develop it’s across the organization. Boston Scientific has been on the leading edge in leveraging technology to drive innovation and its strategic objectives. Your responsibilities

  • Partner with global HR teams to asses and build technology roadmap in the areas covering hire to retire lifecycle for employees
  • Manage support of SuccessFactors applications and responsible to overall delivery of any HR IT projects
  • Responsible for supplying HR data to all IT applications, own HR data warehouse and devops team responsible for building and supporting HR data interfaces
  • Implement and support new systems, processes and tools to continually streamline HR IT processes
  • Responsible for staffing and developing a team of programmer analysts, developers and scrum master to deliver HR IT solutions. Devotes a significant portion of time to managerial, leadership and employee development responsibilities.
  • Manage relationships with HR software vendors
  • Partners with the HR team, providing technical assistance and identifying opportunities to optimize technology solutions
  • Responsible for IT programs/projects to drive business value: Understandings priority of strategic initiatives and projects that support optimized cost of ownership and business outcomes.  Establishes estimates and ensures clear project definition, proposal and plan.
  • Develops recommendations: Develops and delivers project recommendations to management and all stakeholders; Presents changes in IT strategy/programs including technology selection and development, total cost of ownership and ability to drive business outcomes; Develops implementation strategy.
  • Develops and manages HR IT budgets, schedules and performance standards, tracking accountability of team to objectives.


What we're looking for:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree,
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT and partnering with business stakeholders
  • Strong people management experience required
  • Experience partnering with IT, Vendor and/or Business Customers on projects
  • Past experience of HRIT space preferred but not mandatory
  • Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic and fast learner
  • Proven ability to navigate organizational network to get to the right person
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; strong listener
  • Understanding of Sox and other Management Controls


    Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience in managing product teams and SCRUM methodologies
  • Experience working on large scale projects
  • Experience of working on HR technologies like SuccessFactors and middleware like Informatica preferred
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
