Recruiting Support Coordinator / Entry Level - Rochester, NY

Primary Function


Provide support for the recruiting team in screening and identifying candidates across the various Oldcastle product groups.  


Key Responsibilities


  • Proactively research and creatively utilize various sources to increase candidate flow
  • Perform daily audit of job postings to ensure accuracy
  • Develop sourcing strategies with Recruiting team on hard to fill positions 
  • Phone screen candidates and document conversation appropriately in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 
  • Research posting best practice and assist in developing compelling job descriptions
  • Update / maintain process documentation as necessary
  • Understand the ATS to answer questions and provide guidance / training to the product group hiring managers as needed
  • Keep informed of government rules and regulations (OFCCP, EEOC, etc.)
  • Participate in staffing project teams and provide project management support as needed
  • Participate in weekly Recruiter staffing meetings
  • Cross-train and back-up co-workers on an as needed basis
  • Handle the administrative aspects for arranging career fairs and other events
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • BS Degree in Business, HR or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in recruitment, sales or customer service is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience sourcing candidates via multiple methods including Internet is preferred
