PRIMARY PURPOSE

Coordinates key Shared Services processes, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency. Researches and develops Office of Talent Management (OTM) procedures and practices. Researches, develops, and implements procedures and practices relative to Shared Services. Manages projects for Shared Services to ensure effective and efficient implementation.

 MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:

 -Must have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field upon hire and current incumbents without a Bachelor’s Degree must obtain bachelor’s degree within 2 years or by July 4, 2020.

Experience:

 -Must have three (3) years of experience working in an HR position.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

 -Prefer certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), OR

-Certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), OR

-Certification as a Society for Human Resource Management

- Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), OR

 -Certification as a Society for Human Resource Management

 - Senior Certified professional (SHRM-SCP).

Skills or Special Abilities:

-Must demonstrate proven ability to successfully conduct research and translate research into useable information.

-Must demonstrate proven ability to manage and complete projects.

 -Must demonstrate common sense approach to day to day matters that arise.

 -Must demonstrate proactive service-oriented manner and ability to deal effectively with a diverse and demanding client base.

 -Must demonstrate ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment in an organized and efficient manner.

 -Must demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.

 -Must demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail while balancing and delivering on a wide range of challenges and tasks.

 -Must be an assertive self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to work effectively in team environment.

-Must demonstrate ability to effectively utilize MS Word, Excel, and PeopleSoft workplace systems.

-Must be able to work with teams/committees for positive outcomes regarding employee recognition events.

-Must have knowledge of all HR Procedures.
