Payments and Audit Project Manager

Under general supervision, serves as the primary contact and liaison between C3i Solutions Client Services, Client departments and cross functional teams, and external Vendors; develops and executes project plans, ensuring that all client and stakeholder objectives are met.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Collaborate and integrate with U.S. and Global business, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and compliance with all applicable internal and external (U.S. and Country) policies and procedures as it pertains to payment to HCPs (Health Care Providers).
  • Collaborate with U.S. and global franchises, meeting planning agencys and Client Travel Services to meet business and customer needs while ensuring compliance and maximum  cost and process efficiencies.
  • Understand market, country and customer changes that may impact the reimbursement policies for MMFs and Expert Engagement programs globally and ensure updates to procedures to ensure compl iance.
  • Provide in-bound call and email support to maintain open communication with all customers regarding Client's policies and procedures as it pertains to payment to HCPs
  • Establish and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance with all government and Client guidellines regarding payment to HCPs, U.S. and ex-U.S,
  • Facilitate accurate reporting, accruals,  1099 reporting and year-end closing of expenses
  • Participate in business process analysis and associated requ irements for enhancements and upgrades to various systems (iMED, SAP, Archer, etc.).
  • Responsible for understanding and implementing processes which support the CIA (Corporate Integrity Agreement), Voluntary Transparency, Physician Payment Sunshine Act and EFPIA (European  Federation Pharmaceutical  Industries and Associations
  • Support GEMS in gathering required documentation to support audits and legal requests including but not limited to:  IRO (Internal  Review Organization), eDiscovery, Region, Country and Client's Corporate Audit & Assurance Services
  • Partner with the GEMS U.S Specialists, Global Professional  Engagement Manager and Society Account Managers to ensure compliant End-to-End  execution, payment and audit of GEMS-supported Global, Regional and local programs

     Education and/or Experience:   Minimum of a Bachelor Degree; Minimum  of 1 year experience in pharmaceutical industry; Experience in a customer service role


      Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs) or otherjob aids. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively and informatively. Ability to immediately respond to questions from customers and internal partners.


Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only minimal or limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writen, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Computer Skills and Other Abilities

Data, spreadsheet, computer hardware/software proficiency, knowledge of Excel a plus. Demonstrated project and time management skills

Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills
