MANAGER CLINICAL TRIALS

The ideal candidate will be passionate, organized, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to work on a collegial and collaborative team.  Working under the general supervision of the Director of Clinical Research, the CTM must be self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.  The general responsibilities of the CTM relate to the management of clinical studies ensuring that they are performed to the highest standards set by Federal regulations, IRBs, and Montefiore Medical Center guidelines.  Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Patient recruitment
  • Patient follow-up
  • Management of all trial documents
  • Educating and training study personnel in protocols
  • Ensuring that all physician orders are carried out appropriately and timely as per protocol
  • Data collection, entry, and query resolution
  • Delivery of protocol interventions
  • Acting as a liaison between, patients, clinicians, study sponsors and regulators
  • Integrating patient care standards in all clinical activities; participate in performance improvement activities to improve patient safety, quality of care and patient outcomes

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least one year of clinical research experience
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations governing clinical trials
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations  
  • Able to draw blood samples and perform light laboratory work assistance in collection of samples
