Inventory Control

This position provides SAP support to the production and warehouse department, including releasing Process Orders, coordinating the flow of materials to PSA locations, re-labeling raw materials, and reconciling inventory usage to the Process Orders.

· Leads efforts to maintain accurate records in the SAP systems

· Release Process Orders to create Transfer Request; work with warehouse shuttle drivers to coordinate delivery of raw materials to the production lines.

· Manage SAP discrepancies within PSA locations; work with warehouse, production, and controller to coordinate data integrity.

· Follow up on processes orders regarding errors, correct errors and prevent if possible.

· Provide training as needed to new employees/position and follow up training as necessary.

· Close and TECO Process Orders; work to reconcile PSA inventory, verify reporting of finished good pallets to Process Order, and clear COGI errors from process Order.

· Create tags and label raw materials returning from PSA locations back to the warehouse.

· Assist in Month End Closing with the controller.

· Maintain cleanliness on line and 5S standards. Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean and sanitary throughout the shift. End of shift requires removal of any waste and garbage generated during the shift. Ensure proper care of equipment.

· Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.

· Support, and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs.

· Support and comply with GMP’s.

· Follow all company policies and procedures.

· Must be able to work over-time, weekends and holidays as needed.

The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
