Wynyard Golf Club is seeking an experienced and dedicated Golf Club Bar Manager to join our passionate team. This position based in Wynyard, Tasmania 7325. As the Golf Club Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clubhouse bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and the efficient management of bar staff. You will be working 25-30 hours per week.
What you\'ll be doing
- Manage the operation of the clubhouse bar, including inventory control, stock ordering, and staff scheduling
- Provide exemplary customer service to members and visitors
- Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring high standards of product knowledge and service
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile daily sales
- Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing laws and regulations
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the golf club
- Assist members/non members with golf related enquiries
- Handle requests for booking functions
What we\'re looking for
- Minimum 2 years\' experience in a similar bar management role, preferably within the sport and recreation industry
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in inventory management, financial reporting, and cash handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for the sport of golf and a commitment to providing a high-quality experience for our members and guests
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid Australian work rights or visa required for this position
- Flexibility to work any day as needed to meet operational requirements
