Dental Assistant - Bondi
HCF Australia
We are seeking a Casual Dental Assistant for our Bondi Dental Center.
Responsibilities
- Patient Flow: Prepare for patient appointments, coordinate with the dentist, and liaise with reception for scheduling and payments.
- Chair Side Assisting: Set up instruments and materials, assist with clinical procedures, perform data entry, and develop radiographs.
- Surgery Organisation: Maintain infection control, clean and maintain the surgery, manage waste, and assist other Dental Assistants as needed.
- Sterile Supply Unit: Clean and prepare handpieces for sterilisation, process instruments, maintain stock levels, and report any fraudulent activity.
- Work Health and Safety (WHS): Comply with WHS policies, report hazardous conditions, and participate in health and safety activities.
Skills And Qualifications
- Essential: Dental knowledge and experience, neat appearance, good personal hygiene, confidentiality, initiative, and basic computer skills.
- Desirable: Experience in reception duties, qualifications in radiography, sterilising, first aid, and a Certificate III in dental assisting.
