Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
  
• BLS certification (required)
  
• ACLS certification (preferred)
  
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
  

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care nursing to patients with acute and life-threatening conditions
  
• Monitor, assess, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  
• Operate and manage ventilators and advanced life-support equipment
  
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
  
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and care provided
