The Role
We are seeking a Sales Estimator to join the team and ensure all pricing information is accurate, consistent, and commercially sound. You will support the sales team by reviewing quotes, maintaining the upgrade pricing file, preparing detailed site cost estimates, and liaising with design, construction, and operations teams. This role is pivotal in keeping the business competitive and maintaining strong client satisfaction through clear, reliable pricing.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales estimating within custom or volume home building
- Strong understanding of construction principles, margin and profit management, and residential market dynamics
- Proficiency with estimating software (Databuild preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to compare plans with quotes, identify inconsistencies, and manage pricing data accurately
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
