“For me, I love being heard and valued, I feel my opinion and point of view really matter and considered. As from the PBS side, as a practitioner and supervisor, I love coaching and guiding my supervisees, enjoy seeing them growing in the PBS field and become more knowledgeable. About my clients, I love supporting them to achieve a better quality of life and improving their relationships with staff or other family members.”
Silvia, PBS Clinician
Joining ourNorth Lakes teamyou will experience friendly and passionate support from the team and regular clinical supervision to help you thrive as a PBS practitioner. We offer extensive opportunities to extend your technical knowledge about restrictive practice, increase your plan writing skills and learn about proactive and reactive strategies to increase quality of life for NDIS participants.
A little bit about the North Lakes office:
The suburb is between Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast so only a 45 minute drive to the beach or city if living nearby, the perfect mix of both worlds.
If living closer to the city, you reverse commute and miss all the traffic! It is a spacious two-story office space close to a large Westfield shopping centre and in walking distance to a favourite local coffee shop.
The team loves to bring dogs into the office to visit and organise regular social events inside and outside of work hours.
The team recently had an in hours work lunch usually booked in once a month, dressed to the nines and went to the races on the weekend as a team, and met up at a local dog park with their fur babies.
Day to day you will:
- Conductmeaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants’ homes to day centers, parks, and even at the beach
- Buildenduring relationships with participants and witness the lasting impact of your work
- Celebrateevery milestone with participants and their families, understanding that every step forward is a victory worth cherishing
