The Venue
Bar 83 at Sydney Tower is Sydney's highest bar, located 83 floors above ground. Offering a modern lounge bar experience in a modern/retro setting with uninterrupted views of the city, Bar 83 provides the perfect relaxed bar & lounge environment for locals and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Venue Manager, ensure the smooth running of daily operations at Bar 83.
- Ensure sections of the venue are adequately staffed and employees are competently trained.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
- Be flexible in working hours, as the role requires mainly nights and weekend shifts.
- Contribute to building an impressive hospitality reputation through innovation, personal drive, and intuitive decision‑making.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience or in a similar position
- High attention to detail, communication, and strong leadership skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and resolve problems efficiently
- Wine & liquor knowledge
- Knowledge of WHS procedures and rules, food allergies etc.
- Experience with cash handling, POS systems and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster (day and evening shifts)
