General Summary

Customer Support Supervisor for the Tempered Air Products group.   

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Customer Service team member development and supervision
  • Assist and guide through the understanding of basic mechanical systems
  • Participate in field service trips when applicable
  • Exercise independent judgment on a regular basis
  • Work with internal and external contacts, using multiple communication skills and avenues

Business Unit Specific Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide general technical support for air movement, cooling and heating systems on Greenheck TAP equipment via phone and email
  • Facilitate the capture of technical customer service data, refine and develop strategies to enhance customer service experience and perceived product quality
  • Develop Strategy and implement promotion of product enhancements surrounding initial start-up and maintenance of Greenheck TAP equipment
  • Assist with the Technical Service Training Program planning, continued development of this program and develop additional channels for distribution of this information

Job Qualifications

  • Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by having two to three years of college experience.

  • Technical experience required
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office; specifically Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and AC electrical systems
  • Basic understanding of electromechanical and logic based control systems
  • Basic understanding of ladder logic is preferred
  • Basic understanding of direct expansion cooling is preferred
