As the full-time Promotions Manager, your role within Rogers Media will be to manage the promotions team and deliver outstanding programming and client concepts.   • Oversee all SONiC promotions and promotional content.
  • Come up with cool ideas and make them happen.
  • Read bullet points in a list.
  • Engage with clients, staff and the public with enthusiasm and authenticity.
  • Sometimes come up with your own bullet points for your own lists.
  • Attend station and client events as needed.
  • Other promotion department duties as required (meet bands, watch concerts, get free food, etc.)



  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced (but crazy fun) environment.
  • Previous event and graphic design experience an asset.
  • Must be available weekdays between 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., as well as weekends and evenings as required.
  • Punctual and detail orientated.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • This is a more serious list, hey?
  • Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience and knowledge of posting to various social media platforms.
  • Must hold a valid Alberta full Class 5 drivers licence and provide a printed drivers’ abstract.
