About the Role
We are on the lookout for a passionate and professional Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Conference & Events team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional service across a variety of settings—from stylish bars and restaurants to in-room dining and high-profile events. You’ll be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects QT’s signature style. Whether it’s a corporate conference or a glamorous celebration, you’ll help ensure every guest experience is seamless, memorable, and uniquely QT.
Skills & Experience
- 1+ years’ worth of experience as a F&B attendant or Waitstaff in restaurants or Hotels.
- Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
- Warm, friendly and approachable manor.
- Must be able to carry multiple plates and clear tables.
- Be able to anticipate the guests needs and be adaptable.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, providing menus and a welcoming vibe.
- Take accurate orders, including special requests and dietary needs.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across service areas.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure smooth service.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Contribute to team goals and uphold QT’s high standards of service.
