Your role at Sephora:
As an Operations Specialist, you are a salaried member of the store leadership team. You will directly manage operations consultants to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the Store Director, you will act as their “right hand” and will oversee the store’s general maintenance, inventory management, stock room, safety standards, cleanliness, and store updates. In addition, you will:
  • Act as “Director in Charge.” You will set the tone by keeping consultants motivated and handle any client or brand issues efficiently and effectively
  • Supervise and train consultants to develop their operations knowledge and tailored career plans
  • Oversee maintenance and execution of cleaning programs, fixture/promotional marketing updates, and store inventory levels
  • Analyze operational compliance and ensure all operations budgets are met
  • Ensure the store is compliant with all safety and maintenance requirements/documents per company standards
  • Recruit, interview, and attract top talent based on store needs and hiring plans; manage additional HR-related activities as necessary

We think you’d be a great for this role if you have:
  • 2-5 years’ retail management or service industry experience, preferably in an operations role (years of experience required is dependent on store volume)
  • Flexible availability to work during “peak” retail hours such as nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated passion for leading teams, developing others, and delivering an excellent client experience to every customer entering your store
  • Excellent communication skills and retail business acumen
