About This Role

As a member of the quality team you will support the Access and Delivery Solutions Assembly (ADSA) manufacturing area in Maple Grove.  In this role you will work closely with your quality team members and manufacturing counterparts to ensure quality and production needs are met.  This is a fast-passed area manufacturing a diverse number of Boston Scientific products providing components to internal partners and final assemblies to external customers. Develops, establishes and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements.   Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities.  Provides focused quality engineering support within the Shafts & Wires (SW) manufacturing business unit.



Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Identify and implement effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
  • Lead in the implementation of assurances, process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
  • Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
  • Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
  • Assure in the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.



What We're Looking For In You:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0-2 Years with BS degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Previous Medical Device or regulated industry experience
  • Must be able to work independently under limited supervision as well as in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates good documentation practices and ability to maintain deadlines.
  • Experience with Quality problem solving tools (Run Charts, Pareto Analysis, Cause & Effect Diagrams, 5-Why’s, Is/Is-Not)
  • Experience within Boston Scientific Quality System
