A$40.00/hr - A$41.00/hr

About the role

In your new role as a Front End Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading recoverable materials onto trucks, maintaining accurate load weights using Loadrite scales, and supporting daily site operations.

Duties:

  • Sales/loading of different offtake recoverable materials onto trucks (mainly truck & dogs).
  • Use of Loadrite scales to ensure trucks are loaded to capacity and within legal weight limits.
  • Accurately recording daily production data.
  • Site maintenance including cleaning and maintaining haul roads.
  • Stockpiling materials in bays and ensuring stockpiles are windrowed, neat, and tidy.
  • Emptying product from bays.
  • Directing traffic and communicating with drivers and weighbridge operator to prioritize load-outs and maintain efficient site operations.
  • Regular communication with production staff and site manager to monitor product quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating a front end loader (with a focus on loading and material handling).
  • Familiarity with Loadrite scales or similar weighing systems.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with drivers, weighbridge, and site teams.
  • Excavator experience - advantageous but not essential.
  • HR licence and/or water truck experience - advantageous but not essential.
