Long Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for a proactive and flexible, self-starter to support our Advisory business, based in Canberra.
Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To
- Development of weapon plans for the Maritime and Munitions capabilities in accordance with policy, guidance and best practice. These plans include but are not limited to project management, asset management, engineering, certification approvals, ILS, contract management, sustainment and disposal plans.
- Plan, prepare and develop weapon integration activities, schedules and plans for platforms, including technical risk, dependencies, schedule, cost and Fundamental Inputs to Capability elements. This includes delivery of testing, logistics support and any supporting elements to achieve an Operational Capability.
- Risk Management – including consistent presentation and coordination of risk in reporting tools and preparation of risks for presentation to executive and stakeholder committees and reviews.
- Reporting – on a monthly basis. This includes the collation, executive drafting and coordination of technical expertise as required to meet reporting deadlines and requirements.
- Preparation of Project & Program documentation in support of Gate approvals
- Preparation of tender and contract materials including required supporting documentation
- Diploma/Certificate in Project Management (ideal)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships, both internal and external
- Demonstrated experience supporting projects (defence ideal)
- Well-developed organisational skills, analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to proactively and consistently meet deadlines and use initiative
