Stellar Recruitment is recruiting for a national leader in fuel storage and transfer solutions; servicing the mining, civil, transport, and agriculture sectors. Their innovative approach to fuel systems, backed by quality engineering and a strong safety culture, has positioned us as a trusted partner across Australia. They are actively looking to grow their Perth team and are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support ongoing projects and operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Design & Engineering: Develop and maintain mechanical systems for hydrocarbon storage and distribution, including feasibility studies, detailed design, and engineering calculations.
- Project & Site Support: Prepare costings and proposals, attend customer sites to scope works, support installations, oversee commissioning, and provide ongoing technical troubleshooting.
- Collaboration & Compliance: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Support product development, monitor system performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancements to the hire fleet offering.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Member of the National Engineering Register.
- Chartered Status (CPEng) preferred.
- Experience in mechanical aspects of fuel facilities and fuel management systems highly desirable
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all levels of the company as well as with customers and suppliers
- The ability to confidently present recommendations and ideas internally and externally
- Salary ranging from $120k-$150k - negotiable based on experience
