Join us and accept the challenge of creating a better tomorrow.Job DescriptionThe Microsoft Azure Cyber Cloud Specialist Consultant will be responsible for providing expert cyber security assessment, implementation, and remediation services specifically for Microsoft Azure Cloud environments. This role will sit within the Microsoft Centre of Excellence at NCS Australia and will deliver specialized security solutions for clients moving to Microsoft's Azure Cloud and implementing Modern Workplace offerings from Microsoft. The consultant will work with our vendor partners to design and implement robust security architectures and frameworks, ensuring clients' cloud infrastructures and applications are secure, compliant, and resilient against cyber threats.QualificationsAzure Security Assessment and ConsultingConduct comprehensive security assessments of client Azure environments and applicationsProvide expert consulting on Azure security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk mitigationDevelop detailed reports and roadmaps for security improvements aligned with industry standards (ISO 27001, CIS, etc.)Advise on security architecture design for new and existing Azure deploymentsSecurity Solution ImplementationDesign and implement security solutions leveraging Microsoft Security products and NCS partner technologiesConfigure and optimize Azure Security Center, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and other Microsoft security servicesImplement identity and access management solutions through Azure AD/Entra IDEstablish proper network security controls, encryption, and monitoring systemsDeploy and configure partner security products (e.g., from Palo Alto, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, etc.) 3. Remediation and Incident ResponseProvide remediation services to address identified security gaps and vulnerabilitiesDevelop incident response plans and playbooks specific to Azure environmentsSupport clients during security incidents with technical expertise and guidanceImplement security monitoring and alerting solutions 4. Technical Pre-Sales SupportWork with the sales team to develop proposals and solution designs for client security requirementsConduct security workshops and demonstrations for potential clientsProvide technical expertise during client meetings and presentationsSupport development of service offerings and methodologies for Azure security servicesModern Workplace SecurityImplement and configure security for Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace environmentsSecure endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and partner solutionsConfigure and optimize Microsoft Information Protection and data loss prevention capabilitiesImplement Zero Trust architectures across Azure and Microsoft 365 environmentsBalancing security requirements with business needs and user experience while implementing solutions in complex Azure environmentsManaging multiple client engagements with varying security requirements, technical maturity, and compliance frameworksStaying current with rapidly evolving Microsoft Azure security features, threats, and best practices in the cybersecurity landscapeWorking with hybrid environments that span on-premises, Azure, and multi-cloud architectures with complex security challengesCoordinating security implementations with other technical teams across NCS and client organizations while maintaining project timelineAdditional InformationWhy join us:NCS Australia is where you can feel at home, nurturing your talents and skills as we make tomorrow together, one day at a time.
