Servicing across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.About The RoleThe Mechanical Trades purpose is to deliver workorders including fault finding, repairs and servicing and renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.Depending on where you reside (or comfortability in travelling to), we are looking for Mechanical Fitters to help cover either:Moreton Region (Enoggera to Dayboro to Beerwah) ORSomerset North Region (Blackbutt to Jimna to Kilcoy)Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process**Key Duties Include But Are Not Limited ToPerform and deliver allocated work ordersService, repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes& winches etcPerform administrative tasks and document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system. (CMMS)Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network including attendance to pre-start meetingsEnsure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and proceduresReporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.About YouExperience Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networksExperience servicing technical mechanical assets actuators, gearboxes and pumpsCurrent C Class Driver LicenceTrade Mechanical certificateProvide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205,MSMPER200 (3-year validity)Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
