We are seeking ILS Engineers with Defence experience to join our Melbourne team. A strong knowledge base and great communication are critical in this role, as is the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.

Please note the following:

• To be eligible to apply for the role you will need to have Australian Citizenship and an active/have held a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.

Qualifications & experience

• A min of 3 years’ experience in a Defence project setting.
• Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline, and/or significant experience in Defence applications.
• Providing expert advice and support across ILS Engineering functions
• Supporting the delivery of Defence capability projects, ensuring outcomes align with technical and program requirements

Other Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services within Defence Acquisition or Sustainment projects.
• Perform Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) such as FMECA/LORA/RCM/MTA and report outcomes through ILS CDRLs.
• Undertake ILS reviews and provide ILS inputs to development of engineering changes, investigations, analysis, or other design documentation.
• Provide support with Codification, Cataloguing (MILIS) and other DLIMS (APLCRATES, NAVALLOW, AMPS/SIMS) related activities.
• Perform detailed RAM requirements analysis and report on outcomes related to sustainability.
• Perform Spares modelling and develop Recommended Provisioning reports for clients.
• Experience with Modelling techniques such as RBDs, Optimisation Modelling and Monte-Carlo Simulations desirable.
• Provide support in development/upkeep of an LSAR to capture all LSA data where necessary.
• Participate in or facilitate stakeholder workshops, including ILS/ Engineering change boards or project meetings.
• Provide advice to the customer relating to ILS requirements, documentation, deliverables, or projects.
• Support project milestones and mandated system reviews.
• Liaison with a diverse team across design, governance, installation, production, OEMs etc to deliver outcomes.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in ILS Engineering related roles.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines.
