We are seeking a driven and diligent Site Engineer to join our fast-paced and energetic Construction team, to work on building high-end residential projects across all of Sydney.
Expectations of the role:
- Completing Quality Assurance – ITP’s, SWMS, etc. (including revision and approval)
- Identify issues with the project, drive the development and implementation of solutions
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance
- Review quality of subcontract works on site and communicate them with the project team
- Assist with ensuring design is completed to standard and on time to maintain programme
- Manage, monitor and control the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders
- Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief
- Reference tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic where applicable
- Work with supervisors to ensure safety compliance and create a safe working environment
- Maintain daily site records
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in an engineering role within a tier 1-3 building environment
- Overall understanding of Quality & Design for structures, services, finishes and facade components
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- 3+ years experience in residential/project delivery across structural, building services, and/or finishes trades
- Experience working on similar high-rise residential projects
- Proficiency in Procore
- A practical-minded hands-on approach with excellent communication and people skills
- Highly motivated to learn and grow within the industry
