About the role
As an Inventory Manager at RLA Polymers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the company's inventory management processes. This full-time position is based in our Kilsyth South, Victoria location, and will involve working closely with the Purchasing and Logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory control and stock replenishment.
What you'll be doing
Inventory tracking & control, supplier management, warehouse operations, data reporting & analysis, & strategic planning.
Manage inventory control systems including liaising with procurement, warehouse, planning & operations.
Cost reduction through effective planning and controls of inventory value/storage and stock turns, minimising costs, reducing stock outage and maximising operational efficiency.
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to align with business goals.
Anticipate future demand and plan for necessary stock levels.
Develop and maintain annual stocktake procedure to maintain minimal financial $ variance impact
Lead and continuously improve all inventory control activities including stocktake, cycle counting and root cause analysis of discrepancies
Optimise inventory across 3PL sites and VMI ensuring alignment with production and customer requirements
Coordinate RIRO (run in run out) of packaging artwork change or RM changeover ensuring all run out is fully consumed
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification within a business or related to supply chain and inventory management.
Experience with ERP systems that includes core skills of data analysis and working knowledge of inventory management software.
