At VIP Marine, we’re growing and looking for a skilled, detail-driven, and hands-on Marine Trimmer/Upholsterer to join our expanding team — based in Holroyd, Taren Point, and working across marinas throughout Sydney. You’ll work on a wide range of vessels, from sleek runabouts to luxury cruisers, crafting custom cushions, covers, linings, and more to transform both interiors and exteriors.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating and installing custom marine upholstery (seats, cushions, panels)
- Fabricating boat covers, biminis, clears, and canopies
- Working with marine-grade vinyls, fabrics, foams, and acrylics
- Removing and templating old trim, cutting and sewing new components
- Collaborating with shipwrights and clients to bring designs to life
- Adding finishing touches that make boats look brand new
We’re Looking For:
- Experience in marine trimming, upholstery, or similar field
- Confidence with industrial sewing machines and trimming tools
- Strong attention to detail – you take pride in a neat finish
