SweatPals is proudly backed by some of the best venture capital firms in the world, including Andreessen Horowitz and Pear VC.Role OverviewAs a Growth Marketing Manager at SweatPals, you'll drive acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies for both sides of our marketplace. You'll leverage data-driven approaches to attract fitness enthusiasts and community leaders to the platform, optimize the user journey, and develop scalable growth initiatives that support SweatPals' expansion goals.Core ResponsibilitiesMember Acquisition & RetargetingManage and optimize Meta advertising campaigns with a focus on improving member CTR, CAC, and ROASDevelop testing frameworks for creative, targeting, and messagingEvaluate and implement new paid channels to efficiently scale user acquisitionOptimize budget allocation based on performance metrics and growth objectivesHost Acquisition & RetentionDesign and execute marketing strategies to attract fitness event hosts and community buildersImplement retargeting campaigns, partnership initiatives, and creative acquisition tacticsCollaborate with the GTM team on marketing initiatives that drive host activationDevelop lifecycle marketing programs to maximize host retention and platform adoptionLifecycle MarketingDesign, manage, and automate comprehensive lifecycle journeys for both hosts and usersPartner with Product teams to optimize onboarding experiences and drive feature adoptionImplement strategies to increase event attendance, user retention, and referralsDevelop targeted communication strategies for different user segments and behaviorsData Analysis & ExperimentationAnalyze funnel metrics to identify growth opportunities and performance bottlenecksOwn landing page optimization through continuous A/B testingDevelop and maintain performance dashboards for key growth metricsPresent data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership teamSEO & Performance TrackingOversee SEO strategy with support from in-house and freelance resourcesImprove organic visibility for both user acquisition and host discoveryMaintain growth dashboards and track KPIs to guide strategic decision-makingCollaborate with design resources to enhance conversion across key user journeysRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or similar rolesDemonstrated experience managing paid acquisition campaigns and optimizing for performanceStrong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision makingProficiency with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimizationExcellent communication and collaboration skillsResourceful problem-solving abilities with a bias toward actionPreferred QualificationsExperience with two-sided marketplaces or community platformsBackground in fitness, wellness, or related industriesProduct marketing experience with an understanding of positioning and messagingExperience with marketing automation and CRM toolsKnowledge of SEO best practices and implementationWhat You'll Learn & AchieveGrowth Strategy & ExecutionMaster the dynamics of scaling a two-sided marketplaceDevelop expertise in community-driven growth modelsLearn advanced attribution and marketing effectiveness measurementBuild a comprehensive growth stack for high-velocity scalingData & AnalysisAdvance your skills in cohort analysis and user behavior modelingDevelop expertise in marketing experiment design and executionLearn to connect marketing initiatives directly to business outcomesMaster multi-channel attribution and budget optimizationProduct & User InsightsGain deep understanding of fitness community economicsLearn to translate user feedback into effective marketing messagingDevelop expertise in behavior-triggered marketing automationBuild skills in user journey optimization and experience designMarketing LeadershipDrive cross-functional initiatives with product and community teamsPresent compelling data stories that influence company strategyBuild and lead campaigns with measurable business impactDevelop frameworks for efficient marketing resource allocationImpact & Growth OpportunitiesShape the growth trajectory of a rapidly expanding fitness technology platformBuild scalable marketing systems from the ground upConnect people with life-changing fitness communitiesDevelop expertise at the intersection of community, fitness, and technologyLocationPreferably Austin, TX for in-person collaboration, but open to remote for the right
