Objective:We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a finance background who is responsible for leading and managing the project management, change management, and successful implementation of assigned large-scale and small-scale organizational projects. Cross-team coordination, project management, active hands-on participation and executive communication are essential.Essential Functions:Project Manager Responsibilities: •
Drive timely and successful completion of project deliverables, including tracking milestones and/or project financials. Effectively manage and create positive relationships with stakeholders and business owners for projects, including holding senior leaders accountable for scope, timeline, and deliverables. Responsible for accurate and timely project documentation, including presenting project progress reports to all levels of the organization. Focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on key decisions and statuses. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance the business needs versus technical/other constraints. Create original work product as necessary to support deliverables; e.g., writing policies and procedures, creating work flow documents, researching regulatory matters. Assist in defining process improvement efforts, as needed. Develop and project manage multiple work streams. Ability to align all work efforts with organization's overall mission and strategies Build and maintain relationships across functional areas and operational groups Independently leads executive projects Presents to ELT and in organization-wide forums Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Required knowledge, skills and ability: •
Project management and critical-thinking skills • Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations Strong knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and data privacy and security standards Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail Ability to collaborate cross functionally • Ability to prioritize fast paced workload Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs and continuously meet deadlines • Customer service oriented (both internal and external) Professional mannerisms, appearance, and executive presence Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Driver's license and appropriate insuranceEducation: Bachelor's Degree required Project certification/PMP is highly desirableExperience: •
Must have at least 2+ years of Project Management experience Must have at least 3+ years of finance experience
Has functional finance expertise in FP&A and accounting Experience managing the implementation of new financial processes, policies, and procedures Experience providing guidance and thought leadership on financial matters to other members of the organization
