This is a hands-on role with no people management responsibilities, ideal for someone passionate about driving continuous improvement, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native reliability.In this role, you’ll collaborate with developers, testers, and platform engineers to build secure, scalable, and highly automated environments. You’ll be responsible for owning our CI/CD pipelines, enhancing observability, and helping evolve our AWS architecture in a fast-paced, agile environment.ResponsibilitiesManage and optimise AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS, RDS, IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation) with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-effectivenessDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and/or CloudFormationBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines with robust quality gates, rollback strategies, and deployment automationDevelop and maintain containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, and ECRImplement monitoring and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace, or SumoLogic to ensure system reliabilityAutomate tasks and workflows using PowerShell (Bash/Python experience a plus)Manage secure and consistent deployment across non-prod and prod environmentsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline software deliverySupport system patching, container versioning, backups, and other infrastructure hygiene tasksRequirementsAt least 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering roleDeep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS, ECR, RDS, IAM, etc.) and high-availability cloud architectureStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools - Terraform and/or CloudFormationProficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and operation across development lifecyclesStrong scripting skills in PowerShell; familiarity with Bash or Python is a plusExperience working in agile teams and DevOps-first culturesSolid understanding of containerization, orchestration, and image managementExperience with system monitoring, incident response, and observability frameworksA continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on reducing manual tasks and increasing delivery speedBenefits and Life at HUB24Learn more about our employee benefitsHERE.Check out why our people love working at HUB24!We pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer of choice where our people can bring their whole selves to work and feel 100% safe and supported to do so.
