Health Safety Environment and SecurityAs part of its mission to develop, build, and operate renewable energy projects worldwide, Neoen is committed to effectively managing the health, safety, and security of its employees and contractors, along with the environmental and social impacts of its activities.To support this goal, Neoen has developed an HSE&S management system and aims to further enhance it by:Integrating environmental and social components into a comprehensive Health, Safety, Environment, and Social Management System (HSE&S MS),Aligning the system with international best practices such as ISO 14001 and 45001, and IFC sustainability standards.This management system is designed to define and enforce conditions that enable Neoen to meet its HSE&S commitments and comply with applicable standards, satisfying shareholders and lenders alike.Role purposeTo improve and ensure the effective implementation of the company’s HSE&S system, Neoen is hiring a HSE&S Manager responsible for developing, implementing, controlling, and continuously assessing procedures and controls related to Neoen’s HSE&S MS, overseeing its practical application in Australia.The position is based in Sydney, with frequent travel to Neoen Australia operations sites, reporting functionally to Neoen’s HSE&S Manager and operationally to the COO - Australia.The main duties include managing all HSE-related matters for Neoen’s business, summarized as follows:Projects developmentEnsure implementation of project HSE impact assessments and due diligence during project development.Include group standards, procedures, and technical annexes in EPC and O&M contracts during negotiations.Select appropriate HSE advisors when applicable.Supervise development of HSE studies at regional level.Supervise project HSE teams, translating group procedures into project-specific management systems considering local constraints and lender requirements.Projects executionSupport project and asset managers on HSE issues, including site inspections, incident investigations, and performance monitoring.Review HSE plans, risk and impact analyses, and root cause analyses from contractors.Establish and review HSE audit procedures during construction and operation.Ensure emergency preparedness and response frameworks are in place.HSE&S governanceDevelop internal competence on HSE&S matters for Neoen Australia.Monitor and report HSE&S performance to the HSE&S Manager.Propose continuous improvement actions.Risk AnalysisRegularly evaluate and rank HSE&S risks regionally and incorporate high risks into the company's overall risk matrix.Participate in contractor assessments and review contracts to include HSE&S requirements.Action PlansOversee implementation of mitigation action plans for adverse project impacts.Report on action plan progress to the HSE&S Manager.Roles and responsibilitiesEstablish a regional governance system for HSE&S risks and impacts.Provide support and training related to HSE&S matters.Continuous Performance assessmentShare lessons learned within Neoen and with contractors.Update procedures to align with industry evolution and local regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
