Description

Work as a Developer Automation Tester with a leading Consulting firm on one of their ongoing Federal Government projects.

Candidates must be from Melbourne, Canberra, or Brisbane
Contract until 30th June 2026 with likely extensions - Hybrid work (3 days in office)
Must have Australian Citizenship and Baseline Clearance

80% automation testing experience with 20% developer experience
Development and support of applications using .NET C# and UI development with Angular
Proficiency in writing reusable functions and test scripts
Experience with automation web UI tests across multiple browsers
API testing experience using RestSharp and Postman
Knowledge of bug tracking with tools such as Azure DevOps
Ability to run automation regression suites
Preparation of Test Completion Messages (TCM) upon successful testing
Automation testing using BDD with SpecFlow and data-driven approaches
Experience with application security and identity management, including OpenID and JWTs
Understanding of SOLID principles, HTTP protocol, REST API, microservice patterns, T-SQL, and Node.js
Desirable: experience with DevOps and CI/CD, especially Azure DevOps and PowerShell
Experience tracking work items and integrating with workflow systems like Azure DevOps
Experience with source code management, particularly Git
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and C#
Designing and implementing automation frameworks as per project requirements
