Role Overview
The AFP Graduate Program offers university graduates a pathway into challenging and rewarding roles. You will contribute to national and international operations while receiving tailored training, mentorship, and hands-on experience. The 12-month program guarantees a permanent position in a specialist or support role, with opportunities for growth and development.
Participants will contribute to outcomes aligned with the AFP Work Level Standards, Code of Conduct, and Governance Instruments, and will be supported by team leaders, mentors, and the Emerging Talent Team.

Salary & Benefits
The program offers:
- Starting salary of $75,233 plus 15.4% superannuation
- Six weeks of paid annual leave, plus Christmas stand-down
- 18 days paid personal leave and 4 mandatory rest days

Applicants must be Australian Citizens, have completed or be completing a relevant degree by December 2026, and be able to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

- Undertake fingerprinting if offered employment
- Pass mandatory drug testing
- Satisfy security clearance requirements
