Join Alliance Airlines as a Graduate Accountant in Brisbane, supporting financial reporting and compliance in a dynamic aviation environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting end-of-month processes, including journal entries, general ledger and bank reconciliations, and accounts payable coding.
- Assisting in the preparation of key financial reports, including income tax, BAS, fringe benefits, and statutory submissions.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Contributing to accurate financial data entry, reporting, and analysis to support business decisions.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors, and assisting in implementing new systems and process improvements.
- Promoting and upholding high standards of safety, security, and compliance.
About You
The ideal candidate is a recent accounting graduate with:
- A degree in accounting, working towards CPA or CA certification.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax regulations.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset and proactive attitude.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, task tracking, and problem-solving abilities.
- A team player who embraces flexibility and continuous learning.
