Role Overview
UMENCO is currently recruiting a Store Manager | Diamond Specialist for a jewellery brand that blends modern elegance with timeless design.
As the Store Manager | Diamond Specialist, you will be a key leader responsible for driving the store’s success through exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and sales performance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily store operations, managing a high-performing team, and delivering a luxury shopping experience that reflects the brand’s values. A significant aspect of this role involves managing private client appointments for engagement rings and fine jewellery, ensuring a tailored, memorable experience. You will act as a brand ambassador, creating a welcoming environment and upholding the brand’s reputation for excellence.
Client relationship management will be central to this role. You will build strong, long-term relationships with clients by offering personalized, high-touch service and acting as the main point of contact for VIP clients. Your duties will include proactive follow-ups, implementing clienteling strategies, and organizing private events and exclusive appointments to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business. During engagement ring and custom jewellery appointments, you will guide clients through the bespoke process, offering expert advice on diamonds, metals, and designs, while collaborating with the design team to meet the highest craftsmanship standards.
As a team leader, you will serve as a role model, demonstrating professionalism and a deep knowledge of the brand and products. Your leadership approach will focus on coaching, training, and supporting the team’s growth while fostering a collaborative and respectful work culture. You will set clear sales targets, foster accountability, and utilize performance reviews and recognition programs to motivate the team. Building trust and empowering staff will be crucial in maintaining a positive and productive environment.
In addition to client and team responsibilities, you will manage all aspects of store operations, including overseeing sales, inventory, merchandising, and ensuring adherence to brand presentation standards. Monitoring sales data, addressing client feedback, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures will be part of your role. By driving financial performance through individual and team targets and executing growth strategies, you will play a critical role in expanding the brand’s presence in the luxury market.
