Your Role

Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team in the Critical Care unit, as we prepare to move to a new facility at Fitzroy campus. The ICU at Fitzroy is a tertiary level unit with specialties including Cardiothoracic, Thoracic, Gastrointestinal, Neurosurgical, and Orthopaedic Surgery.

Team and Support

Our ICU team is supported by ICU Consultants and registrars from St. Vincent's Public Hospital. We provide educational support and coaching, offering a tailored program for nurses transitioning into Critical Care Nursing, with clear pathways into postgraduate programs.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 12 months ICU experience or postgraduate qualification in critical care nursing
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • High-quality patient care skills, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in teams
