The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Property Manager - Geelong & Surf Coast to help manage the day-to-day operations of our property portfolio. Based out of our Torquay warehouse, this varied role includes a mix of on-site, remote and administrative tasks ensuring properties are guest-ready, well-maintained and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Linen Management
- Manage cleaning schedules, review job quality and help manage payments
- Track linen stock and condition and rotate/replace as needed
- Recover costs for damaged linen from guests (as appropriate)
Guest & Client Communications
- Respond to guest inquiries, bookings and support requests
- Provide check-in and check-out support to guests
- Review guest payments and ensure any missed payments are followed up and captured
- Provide updates on bookings, maintenance and property performance to the property owner
- Assist with the development of end of month reports for the property owner
Inventory & Stock Management
- Audit and top-up consumables in properties for guests
- Order and manage warehouse stock levels
- Provide recommendations for new products or product updates
Property Setup & Maintenance
- Co-ordinate and set up new properties with consumables, linen and cleaning (as required)
- Assist with staging and co-ordinating photography for new properties
- Identify, schedule and communicate maintenance or repairs at existing properties to property owners
Listing & System Management
- Create and manage listings across booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, VBRO and more
- Use our Property Management Software (Guesty) to manage bookings, guest communication, reports, payments and calendars
- Maintain property records, calendars and inventory logs
Financial & Admin Support
- Process invoices and payments for cleaners, vendors and contractors
- Track expenses and prepare financial reports
- Maintain company documentation and CRM records
About You
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years in a similar role
- Short-term Property Management Experience (preferred)
- Confident using a Property Management System (PMS)
- Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle
- Happy to do a variety of tasks – from property visits to computer work
