Calibration Engineer Job Duties
- Develop and implement calibration procedures for various measurement and testing equipment to ensure precision and accuracy according to industry standards.
- Perform routine calibration and adjustment of instrumentation and equipment to minimize measurement errors and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Design and execute validation studies to determine the effectiveness of calibration methods and instrumentation, ensuring they meet predefined criteria and performance specifications.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and rectify potential issues in measurement processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration procedures, results, and corrective actions taken, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality management systems.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use of calibrated equipment, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing the risk of errors.
