About the Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll work closely with our Senior Mechanical Engineer and a talented team of specialists to deliver innovative, high-performance systems and equipment. You’ll play a key role in every stage of the design process — from concept and modelling to overseeing the final assembly and then commissioning. Every day brings new challenges. From small precision components to large integrated assemblies, you’ll design with purpose, knowing your work directly impacts the performance and reliability of major machines and infrastructure. What You’ll Need to Succeed 6+ years of experience in mechanical design or related fields Advanced 3D CAD skills — Autodesk Inventor experience is essential Strong understanding of mechanical systems — hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge highly regarded Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment would be desirable Experience with Windchill or similar PLM systems is advantageous Member of Engineers Australia and eligible for Chartered status Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills A proactive, team-oriented approach and a passion for engineering excellence Commitment to living by the Coventry Group values Why Join Us?
