In this role, you will play a leading role in delivering the production goals and maintaining a safe working environment at this established Gold Mine.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the mine site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise production efficiency and resource management.Manage budgets and financial forecasts related to mine operations and projects.Lead and mentor site personnel, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork within the workforce.Collaborate with engineering and geology teams to develop and execute operational plans.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure operational and safety compliance.Compile and present operational reports to senior management and stakeholders.Requirements:Must hold QM and/or SSE qualifications.Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining operations management.Strong knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and environmental best practices in the mining industry.Proficient in project management principles and techniques, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent leadership skills with experience leading diverse teams in a complex environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.Job Offer:This is a permanent role.
