Must-Have Skills:
- Strong understanding of Big Data technologies and requirements, including Hadoop, HiveQL, etc.
- Experience in preparing test strategies and approaches for large-scale migration projects to Azure Cloud.
- Ability to work closely with project teams to gather requirements, provide effort estimation, and develop staffing plans.
- Expertise in leading project status meetings, identifying risks, and raising issues in stakeholder meetings.
- Proficiency in preparing test cases and SQL scripts for data validation and testing.
- Experience in defining and executing test automation strategies for data migration projects.
- Hands-on experience in test execution and result reporting.
- Ability to lead and manage offshore and onsite teams for data migration projects.
- Strong expertise in data migration testing and ETL testing techniques.
- Experience in test scenario management, requirement gathering, and estimation.
- Familiarity with data quality assessment and KPI tracking.
- Proficiency in working with enterprise database technologies such as DB2, Oracle, and MS SQL.
- Experience with job scheduling tools like Control-M, ESP.
- Prior experience with data testing tools such as Informatica.
- Strong stakeholder and program management skills.
- Proven ability to devise and implement effective data testing strategies and solutions.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to the latest trends in Quality Engineering, including RPA, AI/ML-driven testing, and analytics-based testing.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their adoption in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile and others to provide tailored solutions for clients.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Cloud migration testing on AWS or Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of AI/ML applications in QA and test automation.
