About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Facilities, Office & Change Manager, who for the next 12 months, will have a key responsibility to oversee the seamless transition of our office to a new location. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills to plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of the relocation while minimising disruption to business operations.
Additional responsibilities of this role are overseeing the Office & Facilities Management Team at Steadfast covering our Sydney and Melbourne Offices.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Management: Develop and manage a detailed relocation plan, timeline, and budget.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors to ensure alignment on all relocation requirements.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Liaise with movers, IT specialists, contractors, and facility management teams to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition.
- IT & Infrastructure Coordination: Work closely with IT teams to ensure the seamless transfer of technology, equipment, and data security.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all health, safety, and compliance regulations are adhered to during the move.
- Communication & Change Management: Design and lead change plans, assess impact across the business, manage stakeholder expectations, and support employees through the transition. Develop and implement communication plans to keep employees informed and engaged throughout the process.
- Post-Move Support: Oversee the successful setup of the new office space and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Directing and providing administrative resources as required
- Oversee seating arrangements and staff movements
Skills and Knowledge
- Proven experience managing office relocations, fit-outs, or facility projects.
- Strong project management skills with experience in budgeting and timeline management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Experience in managing vendor contracts and negotiations.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and office space planning.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve challenges proactively.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations.
