Hospital Details:

  • Hospital Bed Size: 639 beds 
  • Trauma Level: Level I 

Reason For Coverage: Current DLT locum put in 30 day notice to focus on their current practice. 

Dates & Required Availability

April 24 - April 30
May 30 - June 4

Then 1 to 2 weeks a month, on-going. 
 

Shift & Call Details: 24 hour call (8a-8a) 

Credentialing Timeframe:  min. of 60 days from when Navicent receives the app. from DLT.  

Job Details:

  • Setting: Inpatient 
  • Patient Volume: 1-6 in a day. 
  • Required Procedures: Ophthalmologist will be responsible for inpatient consults, quick med referrals, eye related transfers from outside hospitals and our own ER. Qualifications is Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist who can remove corneal foreign bodies, conjunctiva laceration repair, ruptured globe repair, can manage ophthalmic emergencies.
  • APP Support/Supervision: no
  • EMR: Epic 
  • Client Requirements: Must be BC/BE and Covid Vax. Must return app to DLT within 10 days of receipt. 
  • Travel Accommodations: Client will pay all travel. 

Additional Details:

  • Pay Rate: 24 hour call $2000 SOC $190 per hour
  • Bill Rate: 24 hour call $2,700 SOC $265 per hour ( Current rates of working provider on assignment now)
    • Rate Restrictions: n/a
  • Name Clear Process: not required, sub directly. 
  • Sub Process: Will send Jenny Willis the presentation, she will share with Medical Dir. and make a decision within a few days. 
  • Unique/Credentialing Client Requirements: Must have GA. DEA dedicated to Navicent if out of state. Must return app to DLT within 10 days of receipt. Will need to complete on-line modules as part of credentialing. Will also require 24 months of case logs and 3 Physician references. 
  • Client History- Success and Obstacles: one of my best clients, pay bills quickly, will book out long term.
