Join our FP&A team based in our North Sydney office. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial and commercial support to the Technology Centres of Excellence for our ANZ business. The purpose of the role is to bridge the gap between Finance & Technology and partner closely with our technology organisations to support them in driving our business’s ongoing change efforts, including large scale transitions to the cloud.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with Technology leaders to build and maintain operating cost models for the CoE.
- Manage headcount and monthly forecasting for the Tech CoE.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyse technology investments and their financial impact.
- Plan hardware, software, and discretionary costs.
- Perform scenario analysis to support decision-making.
- Contribute to monthly financial reporting and analysis.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the Finance function.
What You Need
- 5 + years of experience as a finance analyst or finance business partner.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience with financial planning and budgeting processes, especially regarding headcount/labour forecasting.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Oracle (or similar financial systems).
