ABOUT THE ROLE

You will manage a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring successful project delivery and fostering long-term relationships to drive revenue growth. As the primary point of contact, you will use your expertise to provide exceptional service and maximize sales opportunities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also support Account Directors and assist with onboarding new clients and projects when needed.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Client management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives to provide tailored market research quotes.
  • Client Support: Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Revenue generation and account growth: Strategically understand client requirements to sell Pureprofile products and services. Identify opportunities for additional services and upselling, contributing to the growth and expansion of client accounts.
  • Meet individual KPIs and monthly revenue targets. Where required, contribute to and support the wider team to meet team targets and objectives.
  • Team coordination and communication: Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure that all project and client information is successfully communicated to the relevant parties required for successful delivery of projects.
  • Project oversight: Overseeing the delivery of all projects sold to ensure the concise delivery and optimal service levels.
  • Client meetings and communications: Conduct client meetings and presentations, with the aim to increase client awareness and understanding of Pureprofile products and capabilities. Understand the clients’ needs and requirements, and their challenges.
  • Attending industry events where required – e.g. TRS conference/gala dinner, TRS Education sessions.
  • Administration: Completing all administration tasks required related to your accounts; entering all quotes, and project information into company platforms. For example, maintaining Salesforce notes, invoicing, project and client notes, and fulfilling audit requirements.

WORK LOCATION: Melbourne (Hybrid style working with at least 2 days per week in the Melbourne office)

ABOVE THE CALL OF DUTY: An Account Manager can go above and beyond their core accountabilities by taking initiative throughout the project delivery process. Demonstrating ownership and leadership abilities, the Account Manager can transform project processes and efficiencies by:

  • Innovating for continuous improvement of internal systems and processes
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the industry
  • Helping train new staff members when needed
  • Providing feedback on new products or upgrades on our tools
  • Aiding the team where required for everyday tasks (e.g. costing and feasibility when needed)
  • Participating in self-development and training

ABOUT YOU

This entry-level Account Manager role is perfect for someone with 2–3 years of experience in the market research industry who’s eager to grow their career in a dynamic, supportive, client-focused environment.

You will have:

  • 2+ years of Account Management experience in the market research or panel industry
  • Experience in lead generation or business development (preferred, and highly regarded)
  • The ability to confidently manage data entry tasks using Excel
  • A high level of computer literacy, and experience using CRM/Salesforce
  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferred, and highly regarded)
