Remuneration: This role offers a competitive salary package of $100,000 - $120,000 including super, with an added incentive structure based on key skills, leadership potential, and contributions to business growth.

You’ll work closely with the directors, contribute to research and development, and have the autonomy to push boundaries, innovate, and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver efficient, innovative, and cost-effective structural solutions.
  2. Independently manage and oversee various commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments from concept to completion.
  3. Conduct structural analysis and design using tools like ETABS, SpaceGASS, Structural Toolkit, and Rapt.
  4. Explore AI-driven workflows, predictive analytics, and generative design.
  5. Assist in development of parametric models using Rhino + Grasshopper or Dynamo for Revit.
  6. Assist with BIM integration, digital twins, and real-time data applications.
  7. Collaborate with leadership to develop business growth strategies.
  8. Maintain strong client relationships and mentor junior engineers.

Who We’re Looking For:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  2. 4-8 years of structural engineering experience working across concrete, steel and timber structures, ranging from new builds to additions and alterations.
  3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  4. Ability to think critically, strategically and identify ways to improve efficiency.
  5. Strong knowledge of design codes and standards (AS/NZS, Eurocodes, ACI).
  6. Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, SpaceGASS, Structural Toolkit, and Rapt).
  7. Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Bonus Skills (Technology & Innovation):

  1. Passion for leadership, business strategy, and driving innovation.
  2. Experience with parametric modeling (Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo).
  3. Basic knowledge of Python for automation & AI integration.
  4. Interest in machine learning, predictive modeling, and optimization.
