The Reception and Front of House Coordinator manages our front of house services at AFCA's Melbourne office. Located in Melbourne's CBD, our vibrant workplace culture offers numerous organisational benefits. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Properties & Procurement, you'll join a supportive, collaborative facilities team. Whether coming from a reception or hospitality background or starting your career, this role offers rewarding challenges.

This position requires onsite work at our Melbourne office. It is part-time, three days per week, on a 12-month maximum term contract.

In this role, you will:

  1. Welcome staff and visitors, supporting them with office amenities.
  2. Register visitors in line with AFCA’s security and access policies.
  3. Maintain boardroom and meeting room facilities.
  4. Coordinate maintenance contractors per AFCA's contractor policy.
  5. Organise daily office cleaning services.
  6. Arrange catering and supplies for meetings and events.
  7. Manage office stationery and consumables.
  8. Coordinate courier services.
  9. Engage with key stakeholders in a hands-on, people-first environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A positive, friendly approach aligned with AFCA's values.
  • Reception, concierge, or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Great organisational and time management skills.
