CME is a trusted Australian manufacturer of high-quality plastic starch trays, supplying major confectionery producers and mogul machine users worldwide. With a reputation for durability, precision design, and seamless integration with NID, Makat, and Winkler & Dünnebier mogul systems, CME trays help streamline production and reduce downtime.

We are now seeking a proactive, technically minded Business Development Manager to help grow our domestic and export markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of starch trays and related components across Australia and international territories.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with confectionery manufacturers, equipment resellers, and OEM partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand CME’s presence in high-volume and specialty candy production markets.
• Provide technical product advice and support tailored to each client's production setup.
• Attend industry trade shows, client site visits, and mogul equipment demonstrations.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to provide customer feedback and support product development.
• Report on pipeline activity, market trends, and competitor insights.

Requirements

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial plastics, or food processing equipment.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to understand production machinery and component compatibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and enjoy international travel.
• Experience in the confectionery or food manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
• CRM experience and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
